CortexDB 0.12.3 — a backup of the wrong directory is refused
0.12.3 is 0.12.2 with one fix. Upgrading from 0.12.2 is a drop-in replacement.
Fixed
cortexdb backuprefuses a directory with no CortexDB data (exit 2). With Docker, a mistyped volume name in-v <volume>:/datamakes Docker create a new, empty volume, and 0.12.2 then wrote an archive of nothing and saidbackup complete: 0 files. Now the backup stops and says to check the path or the volume name (docker volume ls).scripts/cold_backup.pydoes the same.
If you took a backup with 0.12.2, check it: cortexdb backup-verify ARCHIVE prints the number of
files, and an archive of a real data dir holds more than a hundred.
